From Francestown Center go 3.3 miles on Rte. 136 East. Turn left onto Bunker Hill Road (the street sign is on a telephone pole on the right side). Go up Bunker Hill road and follow it for 1.6 miles until it ends in a “T”. Turn left onto Saunders Hill Road. Go ¼ mile and turn left onto Poor Farm Road (your first left turn). We are the second driveway on the right, # 52. There is a large deer fence around the field at the foot of the driveway.
From New Boston Center go 4 miles on Rte. 136 West. Turn right onto Bunker Hill Road (the street sign is on a telephone pole on the left side). Note: If you pass the “Welcome to Francestown” sign on Rte. 136, then you went about 100 feet too far and just missed Bunker Hill Road.
From Weare Center take Rte 114/77 to Country 3 Corners. Take the right hand fork (Rte 77) towards New Boston. Go 1/10th of a mile and turn sharp, downhill right onto Rte 149 toward Deering. Go about 9/10th mile and turn left onto Old Francestown Road. Go about 2.5 miles on Old Francestown Road; there will be a small little pond on your right and three mailboxes on chains on your left. Turn right at the mailboxes onto Poor Farm Road. We are the second driveway on the right, # 52. There is a large deer fence around the field at the foot of the driveway.
(Detail about Old Francestown Road between Rte 149 and Poor Farm Road. You may get lost here..) The signs on Old Francestown Road are a bit confusing, so keep your eye on the odometer. Start your odometer at Rte. 149. At about the 1 mile mark, stay to the right on Old Francestown Road (do not turn left on Buxton School Road). At about the 2 mile mark stay straight/left on Old Francestown Road (do not turn right onto Lull Road). The road soon turns to dirt. Then at the 2.5 mile mark you will see the little pond on the right and the mailboxes on the left.
